The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development has identified the first batch of prefabricated building demonstration cities and industrial bases. ( The list attached )

To thoroughly apply the spirit of Several Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Further Strengthening Urban Planning and Construction Management and Guiding Ideas of the General Office of the State Council on Vigorous Development of Prefabricated Buildings (NDO [2016] ), and actively promote the development of prefabricated buildings, in accordance with Notice of the Ministry of Housing, and Urban-Rural Development on printing and distributing the <13th Five-Year Plan of Action for Prefabricated Buildings> <Administrative Measures for Prefabricated Building Model Cities> <Administrative Measures for Prefabricated Building Industrial Bases> (CABR [2017] 77), and based on the review and recommendation of Provincial Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and relevant central enterprises, MOHURD has recently identified 30 cities including Beijing as the first batch of prefabricated building demonstration cities, and 195 enterprises including Beijing UN-Construction Group Co., Ltd. as the first batch of prefabricated building industrial bases after reviewed by experts.

All prefabricated building demonstration cities and industrial bases should solidly promote the work of prefabricated buildings in accordance with the relevant regulations of CABR [2017] 77, promptly exploring and summarizing a batch of development experience of replicable and expandable assembly building , effectively playing a leading role in demonstration and industry support. All Provincial Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development will strengthen the supervision and management of model cities and industrial bases, and regularly organize inspections and assessments. The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development will implement dynamic management of prefabricated building demonstration cities and industrial bases, conducting regular assessments, and withdraw unqualified assessments.
