Zhuzhou City became the first batch of green construction pilot cities in Hunan Province

As people have higher and higher requirements for housing, green buildings will be further popularized. The reporter recently learned from the Zhuzhou Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-rural Development that Hunan Province has clarified that the three cities of Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan are the first batch of green construction pilot cities in the province, and Zhuzhou City has two projects shortlisted for the first batch of green construction pilot projects in the province.

According to the person in charge of the Zhuzhou Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the "Regulations on Green Building Development of Hunan Province" (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations") have been officially announced and will be implemented on October 1 this year. The so-called green building refers to saving resources, protecting the environment, reducing pollution, and providing people with healthy, safe, applicable and efficient use of space during the entire life of the building. According to national standards, green building grades are divided into basic grade, one-star, two-star, and three-star from low to high.

According to the "Regulations", new civil buildings within the boundaries of urban development determined by Hunan's territorial and spatial planning should be constructed in accordance with standards above the basic level. Government investment or public buildings dominated by government investment with a construction area of more than 3,000 square meters. As well as other public buildings with a construction area of more than 20,000 square meters, they shall adopt prefabricated construction methods or other green construction methods, and shall be constructed in accordance with the standards of one-star and above. Encourage other public buildings and residential buildings to be constructed in accordance with the standards of one-star and above. New government-invested public buildings with a single building area of more than 3,000 square meters and socially invested new public buildings with a single building area of more than 20,000 square meters shall use more than one type of renewable energy.

At present, Hunan Province has identified Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan as the first batch of green construction pilot cities in the province. And established the Hunan Provincial Green Construction Expert Committee, including 17 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 21 foreign experts and 74 domestic experts to provide solutions to major strategic and common technical problems in the field of green construction. At the same time, it is clear that the province's first batch of 9 pilot projects for green construction, Zhuzhou City Qinglong Bay ultra-low energy building and Zhongtianlutai steel structure residential projects are shortlisted. Among them, the Qinglong Bay project mainly focuses on low energy consumption (energy-saving housing) buildings, while the Zhongtian Lutai project mainly pilots the wide application of new technologies in steel structure housing.
