Guangzhou releases the country’s first city information model (CIM) platform

On July 27th, the first Guangzhou CIM Forum and the fourth Guangzhou BIM Forum jointly sponsored by Guangzhou Construction Technology Center, Guangzhou Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Industry Monitoring and Research Center, and Guangzhou Construction Industry Smart Industry Alliance were held in Guangzhou. The conference officially released the Guangzhou City Information Model (CIM) platform.

Empowering new urban construction

Guangzhou's smart city construction speeds up

It is understood that the Guangzhou CIM platform takes the design, construction, and completion of BIM standards as the leading, creating a unified scene and platform for joint construction reform and smart city construction. Based on the aggregation and intercommunication of multi-source data such as GIS, government information, Internet of Things data, three-dimensional models, BIM models, etc., a smart data asset for multi-party applications is formed.

Among them, the core application of the basic platform has multiple functions such as full integration of 3D models and information, visual analysis, simulation, AI-assisted review, seamless connection of multiple video access and 3D scene integration, Internet of Things device access and efficient transfer of BIM model lightweight format. It is conducive to greatly improving the level of refined management of smart cities and multi-stakeholders of construction projects.

The successful holding of this conference opened up new ideas for the exploration and development of new infrastructure and new urban construction in Guangzhou. It will further promote the application of new technologies such as BIM and CIM and new urban construction projects, inject new momentum into urban development, stimulate enthusiasm for the development of new digital infrastructure, cultivate and incubate smart ecological industries, promote the high-quality economic development of Guangzhou, and realize the "new vitality of the old city".

Six application scenarios will be implemented

The first city information model (CIM) basic platform in the country

The first Guangzhou CIM Forum officially released the country's first City Information Model (CIM) platform, demonstrating the six major application systems of "CIM+".

CIM + engineering reform: Guangzhou CIM basic platform can assist the approval of construction projects to realize the two- and three-dimensional digital application for review in four key stages: planning review, architectural design review, construction drawing three-dimensional digital review, and completion acceptance.

CIM + smart construction site: Guangzhou CIM basic platform can realize the intelligent management of more than 2,000 construction sites in the city, and view various detailed information of construction sites. For example, in terms of quality and safety, real-time visual monitoring of deep foundation pits and lifting machinery and equipment can be realized, and fixed-point inspections can be carried out on key locations.

CIM+ Urban Renewal: This platform can realize the management of 183 urban village reconstruction projects in Guangzhou. It can automatically estimate the current status of the project population, units, houses, building area and other indicator data; it has realized the supervision of project renovation progress and asset investment monitoring. A dual-screen comparison of the project status and planning model was realized, showing the effect before and after the transformation, the transformation process, the surrounding supporting facilities and the planning plan.

CIM+ Smart Park: The platform constructs a pilot demonstration area covering all-element data of three-dimensional space above ground, underground, indoor and outdoor, and realizes the connection of enterprise, economic, and approval data with the three-dimensional monomer model. The "Four Standards and Four Realities", construction project approval, operating income and taxation of settled enterprises and other related information can be used to explore integrated applications. In terms of emergency response in the park, key resources such as emergency teams, materials, and medical care within the designated radius of the accident site can be found to assist in responding to emergencies and comprehensive disaster prevention, mitigation and relief work.

CIM+ Smart Community: Guangzhou CIM basic platform creates a smart community application demonstration based on the CIM platform, accelerates the application of information technology, digital technology and products in the community, and provides community people with a variety of convenient services such as entertainment, education, and medical care. Open up the "last mile" of serving the masses and meet the needs of government services, community property management and residents' lives.

"Suizhiguan" city operation and management center: It is the CIM basic platform to provide a data base for the construction of "Suizhiguan" city construction, ecological environment, smart water affairs and other topics, and promote government services and urban management to be more scientific, refined and intelligent. Through “one network unified management, entire city unified management”, a new core of urban development with perceptual intelligence, cognitive intelligence, and decision-making intelligence will be built.

The official release of the CIM platform is an important step in the exploration of smart cities in Guangzhou and even across the country. It provides an integrated solution for digital city, new infrastructure, new urban construction and other related concepts and applications. It demonstrates CIM's strong comprehensive ability to coordinate urban development in the new era, and further enhances Guangzhou's urban management capabilities and service levels.
