In recent years, the layout of the prefabricated construction industry chain in Hezhou City has become increasingly perfect and the development momentum is good. As of the end of June this year, the city has accumulated 63 pilot projects for prefabricated construction. The city's prefabricated construction industry has achieved a new level of development of "from scratch, from less to more, from weak to strong".

It is understood that the output value of the prefabricated construction industry in Hezhou City has risen from “zero” in 2017 to 1.19 billion yuan in 2020, an average annual increase of 29%. In 2018, the prefabricated construction industry in Hezhou City contributed about 110 million yuan in tax revenue, 160 million yuan in tax revenue in 2019, and about 160 million yuan in tax revenue in 2020, becoming a powerful "booster" for stable economic growth.

As of the end of June 2021, 20 enterprises in the city have participated in prefabricated construction, and a number of key national and autonomous region-level key support enterprises have been created.

The city has implemented a total of 63 prefabricated building pilot projects, including 5 autonomous region-level prefabricated building demonstration projects. The first phase of the "Guidong Plaza" prefabricated steel structure project won the 2019 "Guangxi Steel Structure Gold Award".

During the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, Guangxi was approved as two national prefabricated construction model cities, and Hezhou City is one of them.
