Guangzhou's first full-industry chain assembly building production base was officially put into operation in Huadu

On July 13, the China Construction and Intelligent Manufacturing Base in Maxi Industrial Zone, Huadu District, officially started production. This is Guangzhou's first full-industry chain prefabricated construction production base, which will help the city's construction industry green upgrade.

The base covers an area of 157 acres. In this huge intelligent manufacturing center, there are 7 fully automatic production lines responsible for the production of building construction components, infrastructure components, and landscaping components. The main products are prefabricated columns, prefabricated wall panels, prefabricated bay windows, prefabricated balconies, laminated panels, laminated beams, and prefabricated stairs. With an annual output of 150,000 cubic meters of prefabricated building components, it accounts for a quarter of the annual production capacity of PC components in Guangzhou. It is a new force in the prefabricated industry sector of housing construction components in Guangdong Province.

From prefabricated plan consultation to component production and supply, from on-site installation of prefabricated components to quality after-sales service, the base has realized the research, development, manufacturing, and display of the entire industrial chain of construction. This is also the "five modernizations" smart factory built by China State Construction Corporation, which can realize smart manufacturing, smart management, three-dimensional storage and transportation, one-stop logistics, and green operations.

On the integrated production line, neatly dressed workers operate several buttons to control the automatic production line of laminated floor slabs after the preparation procedures such as mold loading, oiling, reinforcement, embedding, and inspection. In just a few tens of seconds, a 2m by 3m laminated slab was poured. After vibrating, brushing, curing, demoulding and other processes, a high-quality laminated slab was released.

"In the past, the machines on the construction site were loud and loud when they were working. They had to roar loudly before they could hear them. The dust was all over the sky, and the air pollution was serious. After the use of prefabricated buildings, many materials are directly produced by the factory as prefabricated components, and construction waste is much reduced than before, and it is more environmentally friendly.” Said Zheng Jiafen, a "veteran" who has worked in the construction industry for more than 17 years.

Wang Changquan, the person in charge of the production base, said that the whole process of producing a high-quality finished component only takes 10-12 minutes. Compared with traditional construction, the construction of prefabricated buildings is not only environmentally friendly, but also saves time.

The International Campus of South China University of Technology is Guangzhou's first prefabricated school with the largest A-level area, with a prefabrication rate of 61%. It only took more than 5 months from the first pipe pile was formally laid down to the topping of the first batch of building structures. This is a vivid practice of green construction. Since it was completed and put into production in April 2021, the base has received 9 orders, supplying nearly 300,000 cubic meters of construction area.
