China Steel Structure Association Group Standard "Steel Structure Manufacturing Technical Standards" review meeting was successfully held in Beijing

On July 4, 2021, the "Steel Structure Manufacturing Technical Standards" review meeting organized by China Steel Structure Association was held in Beijing.

The meeting was presided over by Li Qingwei, secretary general of the association, and more than 50 members of the standards development team attended the meeting.

On behalf of the "Standards" preparation group, the executive vice president of the Association, Liu Yi, reported on the background, principles and basis for the preparation of the standard, preparation plan, preparation content and process, and soliciting opinions.

The experts of the review committee carefully reviewed and strictly checked the "Standard" chapter by chapter in a scientific and rigorous manner. The discussion at the venue was enthusiastic and rigorous. Experts put forward suggestions for revisions and suggestions on the terms and clauses of each chapter. The members of the standards development team gave detailed answers and explanations to the questions raised by the review experts.

After discussion, the review expert group unanimously agreed to pass the review of the "Technical Standards for Steel Structure Manufacturing" and believed that the group's standards are comprehensive, the main technical indicators are set reasonably, and they are innovative, advanced, practical and maneuverable.

The "Technical Standards for Steel Structure Manufacturing" was edited by the China Steel Structure Association. The participating units include 26 units such as China Metallurgical Construction Research Institute Co., Ltd., China Railway Baoqiao Group Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Southeast Grid Co., Ltd.

During the compilation process of the "Standard", extensive and in-depth investigations and studies were conducted, which summarized many years of manufacturing practical experience and scientific research results of steel structure manufacturing enterprises in my country, absorbed foreign advanced steel structure manufacturing technology, and benchmarked Europe, America, Japan, etc. Relevant national standards, and harmonize with relevant national standards.

This "standard" can be used as an important reference for steel structure manufacturing enterprises to compile enterprise technical regulations. The implementation of the standard will help steel structure manufacturing enterprises to strengthen management, promote digital and intelligent upgrades, improve product quality, enhance market competitiveness, and play a positive role in promoting the high-quality development of my country's steel structure industry.
