The Chongqing Youth Activity Center project is located in Liangjiang New District, and its construction site is on the east side of Chongqing Garden Expo Park.

According to Huang Wei, the person in charge of the project, the total land area of the project is about 146.86 mu and the total construction area is 47572.89 square meters. The project consists of 1# building as a youth palace, including practical experience, teaching training, calligraphy and painting exhibition hall and other multi-functional halls. Building 2# is divided into two units. Unit A is the children’s library, unit B is the stage, lecture hall, training and guidance center and other public rooms.

The leader of the project concept plan is the famous Chinese architect Cui Kai, with the design concept of building a platform by mountains, a garden with mountains and rivers, and colorful paper-cutting as the design concept. The design is inspired by the "butterfly" paper-cutting, and the agile form is like a butterfly, flying above the earth and blending with the landscape of Chongqing. In recent years, Chongqing has continued to promote the development of prefabricated buildings. According to the relevant person in charge of the Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Committee, in order to accelerate the modernization of Chongqing's construction industry and promote the improvement of construction level and construction quality, Chongqing will strive to start construction of more than 15 million square meters of prefabricated buildings this year.
