Wish Jiusheng: Vanke added 37.027 million square meters of green building area

At 14:00 on June 30, Vanke's 2020 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders was held in Shenzhen. At the meeting, 16 resolutions will be tabled, including 10 ordinary resolutions and 6 special resolutions.

Vanke President and CEO Zhu Jiusheng revealed in his 2020 residential property service report that the company continues to promote the implementation of green buildings and residential industrialization to promote the sustainable development of human settlements, life and the environment.

He said that for the seventh consecutive year, Vanke's new projects have all met the green building standards, with an additional green building area of 37.027 million square meters. As of the end of 2020, the total area meeting green building standards has reached 231 million square meters. The company continues to promote the application of the "5+2" prefabricated construction system, and the construction of residential buildings in the way of industrial production can effectively reduce the energy and material consumption in the construction process, and it will land in 5 major regions and 85 major cities. The cumulative prefabricated building area exceeded 170 million square meters, and the industrial application ratio of newly opened mainstream projects was 86%.
