China's first fully-assembled green building with the largest single building area in China was completed by CLP Loco

On June 26, in the assembly town of Ruyang County, Henan Province, designed by the Zhengzhou Research and Design Institute of the 11th Bureau of Hydropower, the green building of the EPC general contracting project of China Power Construction (Luoyang) Prefabricated Building Technology Co., Ltd (Hereinafter referred to as Luoyang Assembly Company) was officially completed. It marks that Luoyang Assembly Company has achieved another breakthrough in the field of assembly.

According to reports, the building is the office building of the Ruyang Metal Structure Factory of the Installation Branch of the 11th Bureau of Hydropower. It is currently the largest fully assembled green building with a single building area in China. Luoyang Assembly Company completed all the work contents from deepening structural design, component production, on-site installation, integrated decoration and so on relying on BIM technology. Compared with saving 50% of the construction period, the assembly rate is 98%, the construction area is 3750 square meters, and the main structure is completed in only 45 days. The building includes 72 rooms including offices and conference rooms, assembled by 3,800 wall panels, beams, columns, floor panels, stairs, canopies and other parts.

Luoyang Assembly Company takes the lead in fulfilling its social responsibilities, focusing on green development, and actively responding to the country's call for "carbon peak and carbon neutrality", with great concentration in the development of a new housing construction system, modular construction, bolt connection, convenient and quick installation. The exterior wall decoration adopts integrated construction of thermal insulation and exterior decoration, which is energy-saving and efficient, reduces construction costs and construction time, and guarantees project efficiency and quality.

Compared with traditional construction methods, prefabricated construction has incomparable advantages in terms of environmental protection. Dust construction materials such as cement and sand do not need to be on site, and the impact on the surrounding environment during construction is very small. Dry on-site assembly, the construction period is controllable. Construction dust, noise and other pollution have been greatly reduced, and construction waste has also been greatly reduced. It has the advantages of being more environmentally friendly, faster, and good in engineering quality, which can solve the problem of rapid housing construction.

Such green buildings can be disassembled and reused according to actual conditions in the future, and the modules can be reassembled after being moved to places, with a reuse rate of 70%. It greatly improves the use of buildings and greatly reduces the generation of construction waste. It is a building that truly achieves the "double carbon goal".
