The first domestic building component assembly robot was successfully developed in Wuhan

On June 24, Chinese first building component assembly robot "Chisha" was successfully developed by China Railway Science and Industry Group, filling a gap in the field of prefabricated building construction equipment in China. It is reported that the assembly robot will be used in the construction of the Chisha Depot of Guangzhou Metro Line 11. The "Chisha" robot is 80 meters long, weighs 120 tons, and has an effective span of 69 meters. The double-truss main girder structure has 8 "legs" that can move independently. Each leg can independently stretch and run horizontally and longitudinally, effectively meeting the strict construction requirements such as passing high and low platform steps, tower cranes, and cast-in-place hollows.
