The first exhibition of the national green smart exhibition complex is coming soon!

After more than two years of intense construction, the first phase of the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin), the largest national green smart exhibition complex in the north, undertaken by the Eighth Engineering Bureau of China, has completed the construction task. It will usher in the first exhibition-China Building Science Conference and Green Smart Building Expo from June 24th to 27th, witnessing China's construction, China's creation, and China's intelligent manufacturing together with the world.

As the contractor of the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin), the green and smart exhibition area of China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau will also make a brilliant appearance in this first exhibition. The exhibition area is located in Pavilion S1, centering on the four themes of "red gene, blue power, green development, and golden future", setting up sections of red gene, high-end housing construction, investment operation, infrastructure, one belt and one road, green construction, and smart construction, etc. It also exhibited the exploration and achievements of China Construction Eighth Engineering Co., Ltd. in fully fabricated steel-concrete hybrid frame system, fair-faced concrete, carbon fiber and other green and smart construction methods.

According to Sui Jieming, project commander of the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin) of the Eighth Bureau of China Construction, as a national benchmark for smart green buildings, the pavilion itself is also a dazzling business card for "green buildings" and "smart buildings. Sui Jieming said that the exhibition hall adopts more than 100 low-carbon, energy-saving and environmental protection technologies such as prefabricated buildings, ground-source heat pumps, and photovoltaic solar energy, and brings together cutting-edge technologies such as 5G and big data. Committed to building a new generation of green smart and innovative national exhibition complex with the largest exhibition area in northern China, the best user experience, and the world’s leading, giving exhibitors and visitors an immersive ecological space to experience the charm of green smart buildings, and create a whole new experience of exhibiting and visiting.

It is understood that the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin) is a landmark project jointly established by the Ministry of Commerce and Tianjin City to serve the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, to undertake Beijing's non-capital function relief and to serve the "Three Norths" area. During the project process, China Construction Eighth Engineering Co., Ltd. always adhered to the iron army spirit of "military spirit, ingenuity, family and country feelings, orders and actions, and missions must be fulfilled", and promoted the construction of the project with high standards. At the beginning of construction, 400,000 square meters of site leveling and covering were completed within 3 days of entering the site; nearly 30,000 pile foundations were completed in 35 days, setting a record of nearly 1,000 piles in a single day. Completed the earthwork excavation of 370,000 cubic meters of the central hall and the traffic corridor in 34 days; completed the steel structure construction of 16 exhibition halls in 120 days; completed the first phase of the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin) in two years as scheduled. "At present, the construction of the second phase of the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin) is also accelerating, and it is expected to be completed by the end of 2022," Sui Jieming said.

It is reported that the first exhibition of the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin) has the theme of "Green Buildings Create a Better Life" and "Green Buildings Promote Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality", based on "the whole industry, large-scale, high starting point, and high quality". It is a demonstrative and iconic project to create a new pattern of service dual-cycle development in the field of exhibitions in China, and a practical action to pay tribute to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party. More than 170 high-end construction industry forums will be held during the exhibition. At that time, more than 500 green, smart, low-carbon and energy-saving companies will gather in Jinmen to help achieve the ambitious goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, and draw a new blueprint for the green and high-quality development of the construction industry.
