Beijing's first "Integrated Photovoltaic Green Building" was completed and put into use

Recently, the National Energy Group Photovoltaic Building Integration Center project undertaken by China State Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. was recently completed and put into use. This is also the first "integrated photovoltaic green building" in Beijing. It is known as a "sunshine room that can generate electricity" and an assembly room with building blocks. "

It is reported that the building uses a light-weight integrated fabricated photovoltaic wall. After each monomer is prefabricated and processed in the factory, it is directly installed on the frame system of the building. The photovoltaic wall is as high as 8.9 meters, which is currently the highest unit photovoltaic wall in the world. The project shares 410 steel structural components, 197 roofing units, and 170 photovoltaic curtain wall units. A total of 1,155 thin-film photovoltaic modules were installed on the walls of the project building. During the construction, the inclination angle of the photovoltaic modules was adjusted to increase the daylighting in the maintenance space of the photovoltaic modules, to cater for changes in the angle of incidence of sunlight, and to increase photovoltaic power generation. It is estimated that the annual power generation capacity reaches 75,000 kWh, which can meet 30%-40% of the electricity demand of the building.

The building also uses the building envelope and photovoltaic curtain wall to form a heat-taking cavity, and adjusts the opening and closing of electric shutters and fans through intelligent control methods to reduce the temperature in the cavity, improve the power generation efficiency of photovoltaic modules, and reduce indoor load. At the same time, the energy efficiency ratio of the air source heat pump is improved by recovering heat, and the combination of photovoltaic, solar energy and thermal energy recovery is realized, and the comprehensive utilization efficiency of solar energy is improved.
