The first prefabricated steel structure school in Fujian Province was born in Xiamen City

On June 18, the Songyu campus project of Xiamen Haicang Affiliated School of Beijing Normal University (hereinafter referred to as "the project") officially passed the construction certification, becoming the first prefabricated steel structure school in Fujian Province.


The project is located in Haicang District, Xiamen City, Fujian Province, with a total land area of over 10,000 square meters and a total construction area of approximately 19,000 square meters. Among them, the above-ground building area is about 14,000 square meters. The general contracting consortium formed by China State Construction Technology Industry Group Co., Ltd. and Xiamen Heli Road Design Group Co., Ltd. is responsible for the specific implementation. This project is the first batch of applications of prefabricated steel structures in the field of Xiamen school construction, and it is also an important livelihood protection project. After its completion, it will effectively alleviate the predicament of insufficient academic degrees in Haicang District, Xiamen. It is also the first breakthrough in the construction of prefabricated steel structure schools in Fujian Province.


Compared with traditional reinforced concrete buildings, the project has several highlights during the construction process:


Light—Compared with reinforced concrete buildings, fabricated steel structure buildings are lighter


Fast—factory prefabrication, on-site installation, realizing industrialized rapid construction


Good-the steel component has a small cross-section, which can further increase the net use area, and the steel structure has superior seismic performance


Province-free formwork for floor decks and labor saving for ALC wall panels


In the process of project construction, BIM technology was also fully utilized to realize the integrated design and construction of buildings, structures, and mechanical and electrical equipment. The entire process of visual processing and production of steel components by the intelligent manufacturing production line, and through the entire process traceability management system, realizes the precise monitoring of the entire process of steel components in cutting, assembly, welding, spraying, transportation, installation and other links.


According to the "Fujian Province Prefabricated Building Evaluation Management Measures (Trial)", the prefabricated building evaluation is divided into two stages. The first stage is the pre-evaluation of the design stage, and the second stage is the evaluation of the construction stage. The final assembly rate is subject to the conclusion of the evaluation of the construction stage. The project design stage should be based on actual needs and reasonable scores based on documents. The higher the assembly rate, the better the on-site assembly, but the higher the cost, which should be considered comprehensively. In the design stage, after the construction drawings are qualified, the construction is strictly in accordance with the requirements during the construction process, and the image data is kept in the process, and the construction, structure, and electromechanical integration are implemented. Develop a construction organization design and plan suitable for the industrialization of buildings, clarify four sections and one environmental protection, and establish a traceable management system for parts and components. The prefabricated building during the construction phase should meet the following requirements at the same time:


1. The score of the main structure part is not less than 30 points;


2. The score of the retaining wall and the inner partition wall shall not be less than 10 points;


3. The score of technological innovation is not less than 5 points;


4. The assembly rate is not less than 50%.


The prefabricated building evaluation grade is divided into one-star, two-star, and three-star, and shall meet the following requirements:


1. When the assembly rate is 60%~75%, it is evaluated as a one-star prefabricated building;


2. When the assembly rate is 76%~90%, it is evaluated as a two-star prefabricated building;


3. When the assembly rate is 91% and above, it is evaluated as a three-star prefabricated building.


The assembly rate of the teaching building, art building, and comprehensive building of the project reached 76.6%, 81.8%, and 72% respectively. The teaching building and art building were recognized as two-star prefabricated buildings, and the comprehensive building was recognized as one-star prefabricated buildings. This is the first breakthrough in the construction of prefabricated steel structure schools in Fujian Province, and it also provides useful experience for subsequent exploration and promotion of prefabricated steel structures into the field of educational infrastructure.
