Recently, Nanjing held an on-site demonstration and observation meeting of prefabricated buildings and refined construction management to observe the community center and kindergarten project on the north side of Panda LG on Guanghua Road in Qinhuai District. It is reported that the prefabricated construction technology advantages of the project in terms of safety production, quality control, civilized construction, construction period control, cost control, etc., have played a good exemplary role in promoting the development of the city's new-type construction industrialization.

A 1:1 model display area was set up at the site of the observation meeting on that day, showing examples of construction methods such as toilets, real stone painted walls, water and electricity installation, and electrical pre-embedding. The person in charge of the project of Yicheng Group stated that the prefabricated components are designed and produced according to standardization, and each has an "identity number", which can be traced back to the information; the high-quality effect of the construction molding can be intuitively felt through the model. Use the model to guide the construction of the project, realize the visualization of the workers, know the construction process and key difficulties in advance, and achieve real-time correction to ensure the quality of the construction. In addition, the site also physically demonstrated the installation results of fabricated components including the support system. Prefabricated construction is assembled on-site with prefabricated components, which greatly reduces cast-in-place operations, and has the advantages of saving resources, shortening the construction period, reducing pollution, good quality of the finished product, and green and energy-saving advantages that traditional construction does not have. It reduces the discharge of construction waste and waste water during the construction process, and reduces the construction noise and dust pollution generated by the construction.

In recent years, Nanjing has made every effort to promote the modernization of the construction industry and the development of prefabricated buildings. Up to now, Nanjing has established 23 component manufacturers and put into production, with an annual design capacity of about 2.97 million cubic meters and an actual annual production capacity of about 1.53 million cubic meters. 63 manufacturers in the surrounding areas have come to Nanjing to register and provide related products.
