State Grid Corporation's first prefabricated ultra-high performance concrete substation started

On June 8, the first prefabricated ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) substation in the State Grid Corporation's system officially entered the construction phase of the 110 kV Shuanghe substation. The assembly rate of the main frame of the substation building exceeds 85%. It is the first pilot project of a climate-adaptable green building substation in the Yangtze River Delta.

In order to fully promote the implementation of the "dual-carbon" goal, Zhejiang Ningbo Power Supply Company has made every effort to promote the green and low-carbon transformation of infrastructure construction, and create a deep carbon reduction "war zone" and "special zone" in power construction. The 110kV Shuanghe Substation is located in Fengshan Street, Yuyao City. The main buildings are a power distribution equipment building covering an area of 1051 square meters, an auxiliary room of 48 square meters, and other supporting infrastructure such as fire-fighting pools and accident oil pools.

Feng Qiao, the project leader of the Construction Department of Zhejiang Ningbo Power Supply Company, said that the project is unique in building lightweight substations, empowering standardized substations, shaping urban symbiosis substations, and low-carbon energy-saving substations. Especially in UHPC composite wall panels, the thickness is reduced and the space utilization is increased; the assembly nodes are optimized, and the supporting scaffolding and formwork are reduced; the indoor vertical pipelines are optimized to be accurately embedded in the wall. UHPC external wall panels are used to reduce the splicing seams between the panels, give full play to the plasticity of UHPC materials, and organically integrate "industry" and "natural". Compared with the steel structure and the cast-in-place concrete structure, the main frame can reduce personnel input by 20%, reduce carbon emissions by 30%, reduce construction site dust emission by 40%, and reduce resource and energy consumption.

In the next step, Zhejiang Ningbo Power Supply Company will accumulate enough potential for the first trial transformation, and actively build a 110 kV Shuanghe transformation model project. In the pilot application of nearly 20 low-carbon technologies in infrastructure projects, exploring the integration of feasibility research and the integration of preliminary facilities and drawings, and opening up a green channel for the consumption of new energy.
