"Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Eco-City White Paper" released, the proportion of green buildings in the eco-city area reaches 100%

On the occasion of "World Environment Day", Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City organized publicity and education activities on the theme of eco-environmental protection, promoted the concept of eco-environmental protection, and released the "Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Eco-City White Paper" to share the achievements and experience accumulated by the Eco-City in low-carbon development and the use of renewable energy.

The eco-city started from a saline-alkali tidal flat, and after more than ten years of construction, it has transformed into a new city full of greenery, suitable for business and living. The "White Paper" shows that as of the end of 2020, 39 eco-city parks have been built and put into use, with a total green area of 1,049 hectares, and the green area rate in the built-up area has reached more than 50%. The number of plant species has increased from 66 to 265, creating an ecological plant community with distinct layers, distinct seasons, and richness. The regional wetland is completely preserved, forming an ecological pattern integrating river courses, lakes, grasslands, wetlands, and beaches. The Ji Canal, Gudao River, Jinghu and other surface water bodies have initially realized water system connectivity. Reserve bird habitats. A total of 179 species of birds have been observed and recorded in the eco-city. The area has changed from a barren and monotonous salt-alkali desert to a vibrant bird paradise, realizing the harmonious coexistence of man and nature.
