It provides guarantee for the smooth implementation of the follow-up key projects of Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City. It is reported that the project will be fully delivered in August 2022.

The two residential buildings just sealed have 26 floors above ground and 2 floors underground.


According to Su Haitao, the project manager of the China Construction First Bureau, the Sanya China Merchants University Town Resettlement Area (Phase I) project is a key livelihood project of Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City. The total construction area is 233,000 square meters and there are 15 residential buildings. After completion, the resettlement problem of 1,614 villagers in Dadan Village will be solved. The project also builds 11 residential buildings with supporting functions and 2 floors of underground garages, which can accommodate 1721 vehicles. The supporting facilities of the community are equipped with cultural activity rooms, community medical service stations, wedding venues, nurseries, nurseries, etc.


According to reports, the main structure of the project adopts prefabricated construction technology and has 6 house types, with main areas of 127 square meters, 85 square meters, and 42 square meters, to meet the needs of villagers' families. At present, the decoration of model houses in the resettlement area has basically been completed and will be opened to resettlement residents in the future.


"Construction started in June last year. We have overcome many difficulties and worked overtime to promote the construction of the project." Su Haitao said that due to the significance of the project, the tight schedule, the heavy tasks, the complex surrounding environment of the construction site, the extremely inconvenient traffic routes, the soft silt foundation, the low-lying terrain, and the inverted foundation pits caused by multiple typhoon river rises, the construction has caused great troubles. In the face of difficulties, the project team overcame difficulties, faced them, and adopted a number of rushing measures such as increasing labor and continuous construction at night to fully promote the implementation of the project. Especially during the Spring Festival of 2021, the construction site responded to the call of "No shutdown during the Spring Festival". More than 600 construction workers stick to their posts and continue to fight to ensure the progress of the project. This is the main prerequisite for the successful topping of the structure.
