Without air conditioning and heating, it can be warm in winter and cool in summer... Such an energy-efficient and comfortable house is no longer a "dream" in the south. Recently, the Nanjing Municipal Construction Committee organized the application of a demonstration of ultra-low energy passive green building projects-the service center for citizens of Kongjia Village, Jingqiao Town, Lishui District, which passed the acceptance of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. This "house that can breathe autonomously" is Nanjing's first prefabricated ultra-low energy consumption light frame steel structure for the civilian service center building, with a comprehensive energy-saving rate of 93.26%.


Ultra-low energy consumption passive buildings are buildings that provide a comfortable indoor environment by adopting envelope structures with higher thermal insulation and airtight performance, as well as fresh air heat recovery, renewable energy and other technologies. Compared with traditional buildings, ultra-low energy consumption passive buildings have the advantages of high efficiency and energy saving, indoor air quality and constant controllable temperature and humidity.

To achieve good enough external wall insulation, the best way is to "wear thicker ones." The thickness of the outer wall insulation material of ordinary buildings is generally 40-80 mm, and this building uses high-performance enclosure wall panels, which contain 50 mm air insulation layer and 180 mm thick A-grade rock wool board. Through the design optimization of the envelope structure, the building has high-quality thermal insulation performance, so as to achieve the purpose of energy saving and comfort.


Not only do you have to "dress a little thicker", you have to "dress a little tighter." The project enhances the airtightness of the building through the design and treatment of the joints of the building, and further improves the thermal insulation performance of the building, so that energy cannot escape. For example, in the joint treatment of Building D, for the joint between the wallboard and the ground, rock wool board is filled on the inner side of the wallboard, and SBS waterproof membrane is pre-paved, and the outer side of the wallboard is sealed and caulked by silicone rubber, so as to strengthen the sealing performance of the joint between the wallboard and the ground.


The house is covered with a dense "coat", will the people inside feel panicked? The answer, of course, is "No!" The whole house uses a unique and efficient fresh air heat recovery system to allow fresh air to enter and exit freely. In winter, the indoor air retains heat and is discharged, and the outdoor air is heated and purified and flows in; in summer, the outdoor air cools down before entering. In this way, the demand for heating and cooling is reduced and the goal of ultra-low energy consumption is achieved. Even in the scorching June of summer, the room can naturally maintain a suitable temperature without the need for air conditioning, saving a lot of electricity.


On the roof and corridor of the small building, high-performance crystalline silicon solar panels are hung. The solar panels cover an area of about 760 square meters and the total installed capacity is 132.24kW. The project uses clean and renewable energy to provide cold and heat sources, and uses energy exchange equipment to recover and reuse heat to achieve a balance of energy consumption. According to the expert group's review opinions, the project's photovoltaic power generation exceeds the building's energy consumption, and the designed comprehensive energy-saving rate reaches 93.26%.
