5 projects won the National Green Building Innovation Award, and Shenzhen has become a pioneer city in green development

The reporter learned from the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development that recently, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development released the 2020 National Green Building Innovation Award winners list. A total of 61 projects across the country won the award, and Shenzhen won a total of 5 projects, accounting for 8%.

The awards of the 5 projects are as follows: China Construction Technology Building and Excellent Houhai Financial Center won the first prize, Gangxia Huangting Building and Vanke Binhai Land Building won the second prize, and Shenzhen Antuoshan Garden Buildings 1-6 and 9 won the third prize.

It is reported that the "National Green Building Innovation Award" is currently one of the six awards directly awarded by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. It is the highest honor in the field of green building in my country. It is reviewed every two or even three years. The requirements for awards are high and the awards are rich in gold.

Under the current background of “carbon peak and carbon neutrality”, green buildings practice low-carbon saving construction and operation concepts, which is an important measure to control carbon emissions in the building sector and improve the quality of human settlements. Shenzhen's green building development continues to be at the forefront of the country. In 2020, there will be 160 new green building label projects with a construction area of 16.9886 million square meters. The number and area of green building labels are both in the lead in the country. Among them, the number of high-star green building projects accounted for 91.3%. The quantity and quality of green buildings have been improved, and it has become a pioneer city in the country's green development.
