The Hunan Provincial Steel Structure Green Building Industry Association Geothermal Smart Energy Professional Committee was formally established

On the afternoon of May 21, the Geothermal Smart Energy Professional Committee of the Hunan Steel Structure Green Building Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as the Special Committee) held the inaugural meeting and the first member representative meeting, announcing the formal establishment of the first six-in-one industry service platform in the field of Hunan geothermal smart energy (Including clean energy such as geothermal energy, solar energy, air energy, wind energy, biomass energy, etc). More than 40 representatives from the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Provincial Department of Finance, the Provincial Department of Natural Resources, the Hunan Steel Structure Green Building Industry Association, and the geothermal smart energy field attended the inaugural meeting.

The conference elected the first organizational structure of the special committee, and the special committee established committee meetings, chairman committee meetings, expert database and secretariat. Jointly elected China Energy Construction Geothermal Co., Ltd. Tang Aimin, China Machinery International Engineering Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. Xiang Hong, Hunan Provincial Architectural Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. Gu Binglong and Changsha Chengfa Energy Co., Ltd. Zou Jia as the chairman and Liu Gang from Central South University, Yang Changzhi of Hunan University as deputy directors.

In September 2020, the Hunan Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of Finance, and the Provincial Department of Natural Resources jointly issued the "Notice on Vigorously Promoting the Pilot Work of Large-scale Application of Shallow Geothermal Energy Buildings." It is clear that 2020-2022 will be the pilot period. During the pilot period, the province will determine 4-5 pilot areas every year according to the idea of "a contiguous area, a characteristic park, a characteristic village and town, and two major single projects (including a major single provincial project)". Promote comprehensive development with pilot projects, vigorously promote the large-scale application of shallow geothermal energy in the province, create a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient modern energy system, and open up a fast, low-cost, high-efficiency carbon neutral road. Five projects including Malanshan Video Cultural and Creative Park and Wangcheng District Waterfront New City (including Wangcheng District Administrative Center) are listed as pilot projects for the large-scale application of shallow geothermal energy in 2020.

Tang Aimin, the first rotating chairman, said that the special committee will actively respond to the call of the "carbon peak and carbon neutral" policy, and is committed to creating an efficient communication and interaction platform for the government, enterprises and society, and accurately grasping the trend and direction of the new policy. Through organizing activities, scientific research exchanges, resource sharing, etc., strengthen exchanges and cooperation among enterprises, lead the development of Hunan's geothermal smart energy industry, and help Hunan's economy to take off.
