The Bureau of Housing and Urban-rural Development of Changde City, Hunan Province visited Loudi to investigate the development of the prefabricated construction industry

Changde City Housing and Construction Bureau (Civil Defense Office) went to Loudi to inspect the development of the prefabricated construction industry.

On May 19, Chen Hongwen, a second-level investigator from the Changde Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (Civil Defense Office), and a group of 5 people came to Loudi to inspect the development of the prefabricated construction industry. Huang Dasheng, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, Director, and Second Inspector of Loudi City Housing and Urban-rural Construction Bureau attended the symposium, and Deputy Director Li Xianghui and heads of relevant departments accompanied the inspection throughout the inspection.

At the meeting, Loudi Housing and Urban-rural Development Bureau introduced in detail the development of prefabricated construction industry in Loudi. The development of prefabricated buildings in Loudi City is led by the housing construction department. For a long time, it has continuously promoted the establishment of a perfect working mechanism. Related functional departments coordinated and linked together to form a joint force to promote the development of prefabricated buildings. Currently, the Prefabricated Building Association is also in intensive preparations.

At present, there are 81 manufacturers of prefabricated building components in the city. Among them, the production base of concrete prefabricated building (PC component) includes Loudi Yuanda, the Second Construction Economic Investment, Xinhua Zhongmin Drawin, and Louxiang Construction. Among them, Loudi Yuanda and the Second Construction Investment were approved as a demonstration base for prefabricated construction in Hunan Province. The steel structure fabricated building (PS component) production base has 6 enterprises including Donghua Hangxiao Steel Structure and Valin Steel Structure Intelligent Manufacturing.

Loudi City strictly controls the promotion and application of prefabricated buildings in land transfer, scheme design, construction drawing review, and completion acceptance filing. Combining with the green building star building creation action, vigorously promote the application of prefabricated buildings, government investment projects and public construction projects clearly require the use of prefabricated buildings, and commercial housing development projects require the use of prefabricated buildings in proportion. In 2020, Loudi City will implement a prefabricated building area of 839,800 square meters, and the newly started prefabricated building area will account for 35.26% of the total newly started building area.

Both Changde and Loudi had a good interaction at the meeting. The focus is on the problems of component connection, quality assurance, construction period, cost and other aspects in the development and promotion of the prefabricated building industry, as well as the future development prospects and effective measures to promote the development of prefabricated buildings.

After the meeting, the inspection team of the Changde Municipal Housing and Construction Bureau (Civil Defense Office) inspected the Loudi Yuanda production base, the Municipal Maternity and Child Health Hospital, Country Garden·Zhengyang Times and other projects. Among them, the use of prefabricated buildings in the Municipal Maternity and Child Health Hospital project has greatly shortened the construction period and saved the construction cost. The popularization and use of the project have received good responses. Chen Hongwen said that the trip was very rewarding and inspired very well. Loudi's practices and experience will help the development of prefabricated buildings in Changde City.
