Half of the new buildings in Shenyang adopt prefabricated construction

On May 14, the City Expo held a technology exchange conference on intelligent construction and building industrialization. The conference focused on the industrialization of buildings and the development of intelligent construction, interpreted the latest policies and development guidance, and exchanged ideas on how to use digitalization, informatization, and intelligentization as levers to cultivate new kinetic energy and promote the coordinated development of intelligent construction and new-type building industrialization. The reporter learned that by 2020, the proportion of prefabricated construction area in Shenyang will reach a new high, accounting for 54% of the newly started construction area in the same period.

The reporter learned that Shenyang has now successfully incubated 6 national prefabricated construction industry bases and 13 prefabricated construction industry bases in Liaoning Province, cultivating a group of prefabricated construction related talents. It successfully held the 8th China (Shenyang) International Modern Construction Industry Expo, successively issued 31 policy documents, compiled and revised 20 standards, and formulated 29 atlases. Accumulatively promoted the prefabricated building area of nearly 30 million square meters, which is among the best in the country. At present, there are nearly 20 concrete precast component manufacturers in Shenyang, with an annual production capacity of about 600,000 cubic meters of precast components, which can meet the construction needs of 12 million square meters.

It is worth mentioning that Shenyang is also vigorously carrying out the promotion and application of building energy-saving "four new" technologies. Among them, building insulation and structure integration technology is currently being demonstrated. The system requires that the building wall insulation should be constructed synchronously with the main structure, and the insulation and the main wall form a composite structure through the prefabricated composite insulation free-removal formwork, so as to achieve the same life span as the wall. It is understood that the prefabricated composite thermal insulation and disassembly-free formwork is produced in a factory and assembled on-site, which embodies many advantages in market applications.
