In order to gain an in-depth understanding of the progress of the coordinated development of intelligent construction and the industrialization of new buildings, on the afternoon of April 27, 2021, Chen Wei, deputy director of the Science and Technology and Industrialization Development Center of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and his party went to Sany Construction (Xi'an) Technology Co., Ltd., Xixian New District, Shaanxi Province for research and exchange. During the investigation, Deputy Director Chen Wei listened in detail to Sany Engineering's report on intelligent construction technology innovation and engineering practice, and conducted field investigations on construction robots, SPCS new building structure systems and prefabricated component production lines. They also conducted in-depth exchanges on key areas of intelligent construction such as new prefabricated building structure systems, smart factories for prefabricated components, Internet platforms for the construction industry, and construction robots.

Deputy Director Chen Wei fully affirmed Sany Construction's efforts to actively promote the coordinated development of intelligent construction and new building industrialization in recent years. He emphasized that the promotion of smart construction is an important measure for the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development to implement the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development and the Outline of Long-Term Goals for 2035."
