Hefei City, Anhui Province, strives to complete the renovation of 265 old communities in cities and towns in 2021

This year, the "menu" of Hefei's old community renovation is expected to be upgraded and perfected, speeding up the resolution of shortcomings such as insufficient facilities, insufficient community service facilities, and inability to keep up with subsequent property management. Recently, the reporter learned from the Hefei Public Resources Trading Center that relevant departments will launch bidding projects to comprehensively investigate the results of the renovation of old communities in the four main urban areas and three development zones in the past three years. Sort out the technological path of transformation, and optimize and upgrade the utilization of space resources in the community and the improvement of public service supply.

As a national pilot city for the transformation of old communities, since 2012, the transformation of old communities has been carried out. Thousands of old communities in the city have been renovated (including four counties and one city). More than 400,000 households have a beautiful, clean, orderly, comfortable and convenient living environment.

At this stage, the transformation of old communities in Hefei focuses on the basic transformation areas related to people's livelihood. There is still room for improvement in the comprehensive utilization of space and land, increasing the supply of public services, improving property management, and expanding funding channels.

Hefei intends to organize a special study on the "Long-term Mechanism of the Real Estate Market", and plans to conduct research on the renovation of old communities in the main urban areas and development zones. Fully investigate the results of the renovation of old communities within about 60 streets in the four main urban areas and three development zones of Hefei in recent years, and sort out the technological path of the renovation. It analyzes and judges the optimization strategies for the use of space resources and the improvement of public service supply in the transformation of old communities, and puts forward constructive and creative opinions and suggestions for the subsequent transformation at the practical level.

According to the plan, this year Hefei will strive to complete the annual renovation of 265 old communities in cities and towns, and speed up the resolution of problems such as imperfect facilities, poor sanitation, insufficient community service facilities, and imperfect community management systems. At the same time, they will strengthen guidance and overall coordination, respect the wishes of the broad masses of the people, comprehensively improve the living environment and functional quality of old urban communities, and truly transform the urban old communities into popular projects and development projects.
