On April 28, Shenzhen's first local prefabricated decoration standard-"Technical Regulations for Indoor Prefabricated Decoration of Residential Buildings" was officially released, marking that Shenzhen prefabricated decoration has achieved a major "technical breakthrough" against the background of the blank of the national standard, and has found a brand new solution for the "difficult decoration" problem that plagues the general public.

Cracking residential "difficulty in decoration"

At the same time, in the context of the lack of national standards, industry standards, and provincial standards, the issuance of the "Regulations" has important significance. Experts from the preparation team said that the "Regulations" clarified the requirements for each stage of planning, design, production, construction, quality acceptance, use and maintenance, and fully embodies the "four highlights" of the product concept of the whole life cycle, the quality of the whole process, the priority of user needs, and the development trend of informationization and intelligence. Combined with the actual characteristics of Shenzhen, a number of technical provisions with local characteristics have been clarified, such as "dry construction method", "integrated design", "non-destructive removal and reversible installation", "material loss rate principle", "model first", etc. It has truly been "suitable for locality", filled the gap in the field of decoration standards and regulations in our city, and provided strong support for the next step of relevant policy formulation, technology promotion and market implementation.

In addition, at the press conference, the Municipal Construction Industrialization Association also clarified the industry's first batch of prefabricated decoration pilot projects and signed a pilot agreement. In accordance with the requirements of the Regulations, in-depth technical research, construction method innovation, model exploration, observation promotion, and personnel training will be carried out in pilot projects.
