On the afternoon of April 12, at the construction site of the prefabricated construction industrial base of Hainan Kangzhuang Residential Construction Company in Lingao Jinpai Port Park, tower cranes were standing and machinery roared. Workers were intensively and orderly carrying out formwork installation and steel tying.

"After the customer places an order, our factory customizes it. Water, electricity, heat preservation, waterproofing, and aluminum windows are installed in the factory. We have realized the transition from the traditional ‘built’ house to the ‘intelligent’ house.” said Gao Zhiquan, general manager of Kangzhuang Residential (Hainan) Technology Co., Ltd.

Kangzhuang Zhugong Technology (Hainan) Co., Ltd. is one of the four prefabricated construction projects to be started in 2021 for the Hainan Free Trade Port construction project Lingao. After it is completed and put into production in August this year, the on-site wet-work construction mode will be replaced by on-site assembly of industrial products to realize the green construction of factory-oriented production and assembly-oriented construction. It is the only way for Lingao construction industry to develop a low-carbon economy, improve project quality, cultivate an industrial team, and improve industrial standards.

"Prefabricated buildings have a shorter construction period, less pollution, and higher efficiency. They are an important starting point for leading the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry. It reflects the deep integration of the construction industry and information industrialization and is in line with the direction of industrial development." said Gao Zhiquan.

Compared with traditional building construction methods, the components of prefabricated buildings are concentrated in the factory to avoid on-site dust and mud pollution and realize green construction. At the same time, the production water and the template can be recycled, realizing energy saving, water saving, land saving and material saving, and the economic and social benefits are significant.

“Promoting prefabricated buildings can speed up the construction of ecological civilization. Practice has proved that prefabricated building methods not only improve construction efficiency and improve building quality, but also greatly reduce the space requirements for construction operations and can reduce on-site construction labor by 80%." said Gao Zhiquan.

As a gathering area for new construction industries such as prefabricated buildings, Jinpaigang Industrial Park is constantly improving the construction of the entire industry chain including R&D, design, manufacturing, training, exhibition, and trading. Lingao country plans to invest 800 million yuan this year to start the construction of "five networks" infrastructure and comprehensive service centers in the Jinpai Port Park, and plan supporting commercial complexes, talent rental apartment buildings, and port and terminal infrastructure projects. At present, Jinpai Port Park Development and Construction Co., Ltd. has been established to speed up the planning and declaration of infrastructure projects in the starting area.
