The first prefabricated affordable housing project developed and constructed by China No. 1 Metallurgical Group achieve grand topping-out

On August 8, the first prefabricated affordable housing project developed and constructed by China First Metallurgical Wuhan Real Estate-the main structure of Building No. 5 of the 11A-06 Block, Huangdu Daju (Phase I), Jiading District, Shanghai achieve grand topping-out. It marks a new stage of project development and construction.

Shanghai Huangdu Daju Project is a municipal key affordable housing project in a large residential community in Shanghai. The total construction area of the project is 92,733.18 square meters, the above ground construction area is 70141.8 square meters, the underground construction area is 22591.38 square meters, and a total of 936 residential houses have been built. The project uses advanced prefabricated method, BIM and other new process technologies, and the single prefabricated rate is as high as 40%. Since the start of the project, all project employees have vigorously promoted the unpretentious and substantial spirit of "no delay in a day, no slack in a day". They coordinated rationally and carried out meticulous construction to overcome the influence of typhoons, flood seasons, COVID-19 and other unfavorable factors, and took the lead in realizing the top node of the main structure of Building 5. At last, a satisfactory answer was handed over to the Shanghai government and people.
