Accounting for 58.11% of new buildings, the green building development of Lianyuan City, Hunan Province presses the "fast forward button"

In the 2021 green building cross-inspection of Loudi City in late March, Lianyuan City ranked first in the city, counties, and urban areas, and was highly affirmed by the inspection team. In 2020, Lianyuan City will obtain a total of 6 green building signs in Loudi City, and the newly identified green building area will be 438,900 square meters, accounting for 58.11% of newly built buildings.

In recent years, in order to implement the concept of green development and promote resource conservation and utilization, Lianyuan City has incorporated the development of green buildings into the city’s national economic and social development plan, as the content of the government’s target responsibility assessment and evaluation. It is clear that the housing construction department is responsible for the supervision and management of the city's green building development, and the development and reform, science and engineering, finance, natural resources, ecological environment, and market supervision departments will work together to do a good job in green building development in accordance with their respective responsibilities. Make full use of media such as television, radio, WeChat official account, etc. to widely publicize green building laws and regulations and related knowledge, and strive to guide enterprises to establish green development awareness and promote the formation of green ecological development methods. Project design, construction drawing review, construction, and project supervision units strictly implement green building standards and management regulations in accordance with their respective responsibilities. The housing construction department comprehensively strengthens the daily supervision, random inspection, and completion acceptance of the quality of green construction projects. If the standard requirements are not met, no acceptance report will be issued. At the same time, regular professional technical training courses for practitioners in the field of green buildings are held to continuously improve the professional and technical level of practitioners to ensure that all requirements for green buildings are fully implemented.
