Guangxi: Based on the application of "three boards", steadily promote the development of prefabricated buildings

On March 9, the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department of Guangxi Autonomous Region held a prefabricated staircase board, prefabricated floor slab, and prefabricated interior and exterior wall panels (referred to as "three boards") application promotion meeting in Nanning City. Further deploy the promotion and supervision of prefabricated construction projects, especially the "three-board" project, exchange and study and promote prefabricated construction experience, in order to accelerate the development of prefabricated buildings and promote the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry. Yang Lufeng, deputy director of the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department of the Autonomous Region, attended the meeting.

Deputy Director Yang Lufeng emphasized that prefabricated buildings are the basis for the industrialization of new buildings and an inevitable trend in the development of the construction industry. The local housing and construction departments must accurately grasp the development situation of the construction industry, with the determination to win the battle, with the pilot cities as the lead, and the "three-board" application as the starting point, to steadily promote the development of prefabricated buildings in the entire region. It is necessary to strengthen the guidance and support for prefabricated buildings in terms of policy promulgation, project organization mode, and guidance services, and give full play to the demonstration role of the "three boards" project. It is necessary to expand publicity channels, implant the image of environmental protection, advanced technology, safety and reliability of the "three boards" project materials into the hearts of the people, win the attention and support of the society, form a strong work force, and promote the high-quality development of the construction industry in our district.

It is understood that since the promotion of prefabricated buildings in Guangxi in 2016, four comprehensive pilot cities in Nanning, Liuzhou, Yulin, and Hezhou and two pilot cities for steel structure residential buildings have been established, and 38 prefabricated building industrial bases have been put into production. At present, there are 118 prefabricated construction projects under construction in the district, with a total construction area of 7,794,400 square meters under construction.

At the meeting, persons in charge of the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureaus of Nanning, Liuzhou, Yulin, Hezhou, Wuzhou, and Chongzuo respectively gave speeches on the implementation of the "three boards" application policy and the promotion and exploration of prefabricated buildings. Participating representatives from each city put forward suggestions and new ideas on how to form a long-term monitoring mechanism for the "three board" projects in accordance with the actual work situation, and to better give play to its exemplary role.
