School-enterprise strategic cooperation! Facilitate the development of the prefabricated construction industry and the construction of metropolitan areas

On March 5th, Luoyang Vocational and Technical College and Henan Installation Group Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. The two parties will jointly build industrial colleges, modern apprenticeship classes, and training bases both inside and outside the school,  and carry out in-depth cooperation in technological innovation, employment and entrepreneurship, social services, etc., to cultivate more high-skilled talents for the development of Luoyang prefabricated construction industry and the construction of the metropolitan area.

Not long ago, the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Henan Province released the third batch of Henan Province prefabricated construction demonstration cities and industrial bases recognized list, and Luoyang City ranked first in the province in terms of the number of selected cities. In recent years, Luoyang City has strived to improve the standardization level of prefabricated building components, build a prefabricated building industry base, and strive to establish and improve the green building industry chain. At present, the total storage area of prefabricated buildings in Luoyang has reached 813,700 square meters, ranking first in the province. There are 13 production bases for parts and components that have been put into operation and are under construction.

According to the agreement between the two parties, both the school and the enterprise will jointly build the Yu'an Construction Industry College, and conduct in-depth cooperation in intelligent construction and prefabricated construction talent training, technological innovation, employment and entrepreneurship, social services, etc., to cultivate high-quality technical and technical talents for the construction of the Luoyang metropolitan area; Build Yu'an modern apprenticeship classes, intelligent construction and prefabricated building professional group internal and external training bases, smart construction and prefabricated building R&D centers, and Henan construction industry vocational training bases. In addition, the school and enterprise will jointly participate in various national and provincial skill competitions, jointly carry out project applications and teaching achievement award declarations, etc.; introduce enterprises to the school, share scientific research sites, equipment and technical strength, and promote the transformation of scientific research results. Utilize their respective advantageous resources to train technical talents such as electricians, welders, building information modeling (BIM) technicians, and safety officers in the construction industry.
