In addition to basic toilet functions, they are also equipped with an operator's operating room, a multifunctional room, and barrier-free passages.

Barrier-free passages facilitate the entry of wheelchairs and baby strollers, and a large space is reserved in the multifunctional room, with children's toilets, wash stations and toilet facilities for the disabled. The maternal and infant facilities are convenient for mothers who travel alone with their babies to change diapers for their children.

The sanitation and ventilation of the new public toilets have also been significantly improved. The built-in disinfection function uses ultraviolet disinfection lamps to improve the disinfection and hygiene. During the disinfection, the disinfection operation indicator at the door lights up to remind people not to enter during the disinfection.

The rear of the toilet seat can be directly exhausted for ventilation, and there is also a centralized exhaust device above the entire toilet, which is more convenient to remove odors.

In terms of public toilet management, Qingshan District insists that public toilets be open 24 hours a day. For public toilets that are shut down due to freezing and cracking of pipes due to cold winter temperatures, they will be opened in time as soon as the weather recovers.

Some citizens reported that there were no parking spaces for public toilets on the north side of Wanda Park and Qingnian Road. The Qingshan District Urban Management Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau and the traffic police department have communicated with them. They have added toilet parking spaces and parking vehicles for a limited time.

In addition, in order for citizens to find the location of the nearest public toilet more easily, the Qingshan District Urban Management Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau has set up 3-4 public toilet signs around each public toilet. Both the direction and the distance are indicated, and the installation of the signs has been planned and adjusted many times, avoiding the shelter of trees and as close as possible to the intersection.

In addition to the instructions along the street, in the official WeChat public account of the Qingshan District Urban Management Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau, the convenience service option provides a public toilet search function, and uses the location to recommend nearby public toilets.
