Qinghai: Promote prefabricated decoration, promote the unification of individualized and industrialized decoration

Not long ago, the Qinghai Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and other eight departments jointly issued the "Qinghai Province Green Building Creation Action Implementation Plan." In terms of creation goals, the plan puts forward: By 2022, a green building development mechanism will basically take shape. That year, green buildings accounted for 70% of new urban buildings; the province’s prefabricated buildings accounted for more than 12% of new buildings.

Among the key tasks, the plan proposes to promote assembly-based construction methods:

The first is to vigorously develop prefabricated buildings. In principle, new public buildings and government investment projects shall be constructed using industrially produced prefabricated concrete and steel structures, and real estate development projects are encouraged to adopt prefabricated construction methods. When the project is approved, the green building grade requirements are clearly defined. In the bidding, auction and listing of the land, it is clear that the condition of the transfer is that the proportion of land used for construction using prefabricated green building technology is not less than 10%. Encourage the use of prefabricated construction methods for the construction of beautiful towns, beautiful villages, and characteristic towns on the plateau.

The second is to support the construction of an industrialized base that integrates design, production, and construction, accelerate the development of prefabrication and assembly technology for construction projects, and improve the standardization level of prefabricated building components and the integration level of building industrialization technology.

The third is to promote prefabricated decoration, encourage new houses to be decorated in place or menu-style decoration at one time, and promote the unification of personalized decoration and industrial decoration.

The fourth is to build a green construction technology system with low environmental impact and efficient use of resources, a prefabricated construction technology system, smart construction technology and other green construction methods. Promote standardized design and standardized production of parts and components, actively explore the application of new technologies such as 5G, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and construction robots in the field of engineering construction, promote the development of green construction and new technologies, and improve the integration of green building technologies.
