Hebei Province has built a total of 4.4 million square meters of passive ultra-low energy consumption building area, ranking first in the country in total building area

In 2020, Hebei Province will start 74 passive ultra-low energy building projects with a construction area of 1.23 million square meters. By the end of 2020, the province has built a total of 141 passive ultra-low energy building projects with a construction area of 4.4 million square meters, and the total construction area ranks first in the country.

Over the past year, Hebei Province has adopted a series of measures such as improving systems and policies, revising technical standards, and increasing publicity to vigorously promote the high-quality development of passive ultra-low energy consumption buildings. The provincial government issued the "Several Policies on Supporting the Development of the Passive Ultra-Low Energy Building Industry", which clearly put forward 29 supporting policies in 8 areas, including increasing promotion, ensuring land supply, and improving the industrial chain. The Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development issued "Measures for Strengthening the Quality Management of Passive Ultra-low Energy Building Projects" and "Hebei Province Passive Ultra-Low Energy Building Post-evaluation Guidelines" to promote the improvement of the quality of ultra-low energy building construction and standardize the content, standards and procedures of post-assessment work.

The Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Hebei Province has revised standards such as the "Energy-saving Design Standard for Passive Ultra-Low Energy Consumption Residential Buildings" and "The Energy-saving Design Standard for Passive Ultra-low Energy Public Buildings". And compiled the "Passive Ultra-low Energy Building Post-evaluation Technical Guidelines" and 3 related standard atlases. The construction standard system for passive ultra-low energy building projects has been basically sound, covering design, evaluation, construction and acceptance, energy-saving testing, post-evaluation and other links, and can meet the needs of the entire process of project construction. In addition, by co-organizing a series of thematic publicity activities with mainstream media such as webcasting, opening of WeChat official accounts, and opening of website columns, the public's awareness of passive ultra-low energy buildings has been effectively raised.

In 2021, relevant departments of the province will strictly implement the "Several Policies on Supporting the Development of Passive Ultra-Low Energy Building Industry", "Hebei Province Passive Ultra-Low Energy Building Industry Development Plan (2020-2025)" and a series of technical standards. Continue to strengthen the construction of passive ultra-low energy consumption buildings and lay a solid foundation for the development of the passive ultra-low energy building industry.
