Gaobeidian City has recently added three new buildings with book fragrance, which are very eye-catching. They are the first batch of "Passive House" smart libraries in China located in Yanzhao Park, Botanical Park and Century Plaza. After the interior decoration and facilities are completed, they will be open for free, allowing the general public to enjoy a quality reading life in a spring-like environment all year round.

It is understood that this project is the livelihood work of Gaobeidian City in 2020. Relying on the resource advantages of the venue for the 23rd International Passive House Conference, the smart library is constructed with the world's leading prefabricated ultra-low energy building technology. It can provide citizens with a constant temperature, humidity, oxygen, clean, and quiet reading environment. Passive house is the future direction of the world's housing construction, it does not require air conditioning and heating. The room has fresh air throughout the year, is not humid, and is free of mold. The room temperature in all seasons is maintained at the most suitable 18℃~24℃ for human body, which can save 95% of energy.

According to reports, the smart library using the smart cloud platform and management platform has realized unattended and 24-hour self-service services without being restricted by traditional library opening time, space and service models. Readers who enter the smart library to borrow and return books can complete all operations on their own by bringing their ID card. They can open the door and read in the library by swiping the ID card. If they need to borrow and return books, they can also complete the operations on the all-in-one machine. The site of the museum is chosen in the park and square, allowing people to sit and read while walking in the park. This combination of "park + library" makes people's lives more poetic.
