New building materials industry project started construction in Nanning City

On January 22, Xixiangtang District, Nanning City, Guangxi, held the first major project in Nanning City in 2021 on the completion of the first major project in 2021, and the on-site meeting of China Resources Nanning's annual output of 10 million tons of new high-quality construction aggregates and 300,000 tons of dry-mixed mortar project.

The project of China Resources Nanning with an annual output of 10 million tons of new high-quality construction aggregates and 300,000 tons of dry-mixed mortar is a large-scale new environmentally friendly high-quality construction aggregate project invested by China Resources Cement (Nanning) Co., Ltd. in Shuangding Town, Xixiangtang District. The total land area of the project is about 528 acres and the planned investment is 1.7 billion yuan. The construction content includes construction stone mining, product processing plant area, transportation roads and corridors, shipping docks, and supporting safety and environmental protection, office and living facilities, etc. This is China Resources Cement's largest new building materials industry project in Guangxi after its cement clinker, commercial concrete, new prefabricated construction, and co-processing businesses. The project is constructed in two phases, of which, the planned investment of the first phase is 536 million yuan, and the construction and production scale is 3.8 million tons per year, and the investment in the second phase is 1.123 billion yuan and the construction and production scale is 6.5 million tons per year.

According to reports, the project takes nanomaterials and calcium-based new materials as the key development directions in the future, and builds it into a comprehensive industrial park integrating the production and processing of high-end calcium-based products and the development of circular economy. It will better promote the structural transformation of Nanning's construction sand and aggregate industry, and realize the close integration of resource development and utilization with social and economic construction in harmony and win-win development.
