Fujian No.1 Construction Group held a project kick-off meeting for "Product Optimization and Construction Technology Research of Prefabricated Steel Tube Bundle Structure"

On the morning of January 15, the kick-off meeting and the first working meeting of the Sanming Science and Technology Plan Project "Product Optimization and Construction Technology Research of Prefabricated Steel Tube Bundle Combination Structures" co-operated by Fujian First Construction Group and Sanming College was successfully held. Chief Engineer Zhang Changtao presided over the meeting. The technical development department, the directly affiliated project management department, the head of Sanming Hangxiao Steel Structure Company and relevant representatives of Sanming College participated in the meeting.

At the meeting, the participants determined the composition mode of the research team for structure, cost control, and material control, and exchanged views on technical issues and difficulties in design, construction, acceptance, related testing, and maintenance of the "steel bundle composite structure". Zhang Changtao emphasized that the purpose of this project is to solve many problems found during the implementation of the pilot project of Sanming Hangxiao Steel Structure and Xiaojiao Resettlement House. Carry out targeted research to solve the problems of crack control, node optimization, fire protection, anti-corrosion, and waterproof in the process of component production, installation and on-site construction, and form a feasible and complete steel pipe bundle structure system. After the meeting, the participants went to the production site of Sanming Hangxiao Steel Structure Company to conduct on-site inspections, and put forward solutions to the problems found in the actual application of the assembled steel tube bundle structure.

Through project cooperation, it will effectively solve several problems existing in the production, installation and on-site construction of steel tube shear walls and steel truss floor deck structural components. Propose systematic design, construction, quality inspection and engineering cost management methods of steel tube bundle combination structure, optimize the design theory of steel tube bundle structure system, and better promote the development and application of this technology.
