Vigorously promote the transformation of single green buildings to regionalization, and actively carry out the pilot practice of green ecological urban areas. A total of 29 green ecological urban areas have been created or sorted out, with a total land area of nearly 90 square kilometers. It will steadily implement the energy-saving renovation of existing buildings, complete the energy-saving renovation target of 10 million square meters of existing public buildings one year in advance, and actively promote the green renewal assessment of existing buildings in Shanghai.

The development trend of prefabricated buildings is good, the upstream and downstream industrial chains are continuously gathering, the standards and specifications are gradually improved, the level of industrial workers and technical personnel is continuously improved, and the total amount of prefabricated buildings has exceeded 130 million square meters. In 2017, it was approved as a national “Prefabricated Building Demonstration City”.

The application of BIM technology in major projects, key areas and affordable housing continues to deepen, and the full application and full life cycle application of BIM technology have been initially realized in construction projects above the scale that meet the requirements for BIM application.
