The longest underground comprehensive pipe gallery in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province was completed

Recently, the construction of the underground integrated pipe gallery of Future Smart City has been completed and passed the phased quality inspection. The next step will be to coordinate various professional pipeline units to enter the gallery.

The underground comprehensive pipe corridor of the future Smart City is divided into the comprehensive pipe corridor of Daming North Road and the comprehensive pipe corridor of Wisdom Avenue. The total length is 3839 meters, which is the longest pipe corridor in Changzhou City. The entire pipe gallery is divided into a gas warehouse and a comprehensive warehouse. Among them, a fire extinguisher is installed every 3.5 meters on the top of the comprehensive warehouse, cable trays are arranged on both sides, and a water pipe foundation is installed every 6 meters on the ground. The walls of the pipe gallery are equipped with sensors for controlling temperature, humidity, oxygen content and detecting harmful gases, which can monitor the environment of the pipe gallery in real time. In case of fire, suffocation is used to extinguish the fire.

It is reported that the intelligent building installed in the pipe gallery has 9 systems including combustible gas detection, environmental monitoring, and ventilation control, with functions such as fire alarm, exhaust, drainage, and video recording.

It is reported that the integrated pipe gallery can reduce the excavation of urban roads and extend the life of municipal pipelines by intensively containing various pipelines, it can save more valuable underground space for urban development and effectively improve the comprehensive carrying capacity and competitiveness of Tianning Economic Development Zone.
