The assembly-type electromechanical industry in Hunan Province has greatly increased the construction period and accelerated the formation of scale effects

If the prefabricated building PC components (precast concrete) are the "skeleton", the prefabricated electromechanical components are the "vascular" and "nerves". The reporter learned from the Hunan Installation Industry Association on January 15 that the output value of the assembly electromechanical factory of the third company of China Construction Fifth Bureau announced that it will exceed 50 million yuan in 2020. This is also the first assembly electromechanical factory in the province. The entire industry is accelerating the formation of scale effects. 

The first prefabricated electromechanical factory in Changsha City

Prefabricated buildings have entered a period of rapid development, but prefabricated electromechanical systems have been developing slowly due to many components, small volumes, and complexity. To welcome the "outlet" of construction industrialization, the research and promotion of prefabricated electromechanical industrialization has been included in the 2020 construction science and technology plan project by the Provincial Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department, and also listed as a key project of China State Construction Group.

"Assembled electromechanical is a key part of rapid construction. Because it realizes modularization of components, it also greatly improves the quality of the project." Wang Lijie, the head of the prefabricated electromechanical factory of the third company of China Construction Fifth Bureau, introduced that through the establishment of a "China Construction Strange Equipment" rapid construction system, and investment in the construction of the first prefabricated electromechanical factory in the province, the main products include two categories: The first is prefabricated electromechanical equipment, including standard pump unit modules, air conditioning room, water supply room, fire pump room, etc.; the second is support, including seismic support, finished product support, pipe gallery support, and support steel plate base. Relevant achievements have won four provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological progress awards, and more than 70 scientific and technological achievements have been accumulated.

After assembly and modularization, electromechanical engineering is divided into unit modules or components one after another. Each individual module or component is manufactured and processed in advance in the factory using technical means such as BIM, and installation and construction can be completed without welding or very little welding after being shipped to the site. This high-efficiency and high-precision electromechanical installation method is used in the Changsha Intelligent Terminal Industry Double Innovation Incubation Base Project. The project includes a refrigerating machine room of more than 2,000 square meters, 154 fans, and 1,240-meter stainless steel bridge frames. The actual construction period was only about two weeks, which was more than 75% less than the traditional installation method.

From "first generation products" such as pipeline components to "second generation products" such as standard modular assembled computer rooms. Now the "Zhongjian Qipei" rapid construction system has developed to the third generation of intelligent modular products, and has been promoted to 12 provinces and 22 cities across the country.
