Lianjiang City, Guangdong Province will invest 600 million yuan to build a prefabricated building material and aluminum template production plant

The new project of prefabricated building materials and aluminum formwork is located 6 kilometers away from Lianzhan Road, Xinmin Town, Lianjiang City, Zhanjiang City. The planned land area of the project is 133,320 square meters and the building area is 90,000 square meters. Mainly construct industrial plants, offices, dormitories, and R&D buildings. Three production lines for precast concrete components, three production lines for aluminum formwork, and three production lines for external protective frames will be constructed. The total annual output value is expected to be 650 million yuan. The total investment of the project is 600 million yuan, which will be constructed by Guangdong Penggang Construction Technology Co., Ltd. The construction period is from September 1, 2021 to March 1, 2021.

In recent years, Zhanjiang City has actively explored the application of prefabricated construction technology to public rental housing to shorten construction time and improve construction quality. At the end of May this year, the leaders in charge of the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Guangdong Province led a team to Zhanjiang for investigation and guidance, and on-site surveys of the steel structure prefabricated EPC public rental housing project on the south side of Dongsheng Road. On July 3, the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Coordinated Development of Intelligent Construction and Building Industrialization" jointly issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and other 13 departments pointed out that we must vigorously develop prefabricated buildings and increase the application of intelligent construction in all aspects of engineering construction.

On July 6, the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development officially issued the "Key Points of Public Rental Housing Security in Guangdong Province in the Second Half of 2020", which further clarified the local "strengthening the experience and practices of prefabricated public rental housing construction, and timely publicity and promotion."
