Hainan Housing and Construction Department organized a symposium on the promotion of the construction and operation of the prefabricated building production base

On January 7, in order to accelerate the production capacity construction of prefabricated buildings in Hainan Province, to ensure that the supply of components and parts for new prefabricated building projects can be basically guaranteed, the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department of Hainan Province organized a symposium on the promotion of the construction and operation of the prefabricated building production base. Huo Juran, member of the Party Group and Director of the Provincial Housing and Urban-Rural Department, and Liu Lianwei, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Provincial Housing and Urban-Rural Department, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, persons in charge of many prefabricated construction production enterprises such as Haijian, Weite, and Youmeishu introduced the progress of the base, the existing problems and the next work plan. All units participated in the conference and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the problems existing in industrial development.

Finally, Director Huo Juran put forward three requirements on the next step to speed up the development of the prefabricated construction production base in Hainan Province: First, we must strengthen our confidence and raise awareness. Vigorously developing prefabricated buildings is a clear requirement in the policy documents of the State Council and the provincial government. It is a specific action to implement the construction of the Hainan National Ecological Civilization Pilot Zone and the concept of green development, and to promote the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Zone (port) with high standards and high quality. Relevant enterprises must strengthen their confidence, unify their thinking, overcome difficulties, and actively promote base construction. Second, the Hainan Housing and Urban-rural Development Department actively cooperated with the municipal and county governments to solve the problem of supporting infrastructure around the prefabricated building production base. Strengthen the coordination and communication between provinces and cities and between departments, be problem-oriented, take the initiative, and serve first, and accelerate the construction and commissioning of prefabricated base projects. The third is to continue to improve the technical standard system for prefabricated buildings in Hainan Province, and build a development path for prefabricated building technologies that meets the actual conditions of Hainan Province.

A total of more than 40 people attended the meeting, including the relevant persons in charge of the Survey, Design and Technology Division of the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Hainan Province and the main persons in charge of relevant component manufacturers.
