Drawin Group successfully developed a non-dropping same-layer drainage system, which can achieve a comprehensive cost reduction of 500 yuan for a single bathroom

Recently, the Institute of Building Research of Drawin Group has achieved complete success in the drainage performance and multi-channel interface drainage flow test of the non-falling board same-layer drainage system promoted by the School of Civil Engineering of Hunan University.



In the traditional design, there are five major pain points in the floor structure drop of the bathroom: one is that a secondary beam must be added at the drop board, and the large drop board at the bathroom affects the indoor net. Second, the traditional cast-in-situ caisson is complicated to operate at the construction site, and the molding quality is difficult to guarantee, and the caisson needs to be backfilled in the later period. Third, prefabricated caisson components require customized molds, and steel bars extend around the prefabricated components, which seriously affects the efficiency of mold assembly and disassembly in the factory and the mold reuse rate. Fourth, the prefabricated caisson is produced on a fixed table mold in the factory and must be poured in two parts to complete the production, which reduces the production efficiency of the factory. Fifth, the number of single-vehicle transportation components of prefabricated caisson components is limited. Due to the increase of secondary beams, the number of on-site hoisting is large. The prefabricated components extend around the steel bars, and steel bars often fight during installation, and civil construction errors are difficult to control.



The test lasted for nearly two months. The test results show that the non-decreasing slab drainage system developed by the Drawin Group's Building Science Research Institute transports the water from the bathroom floor drain and sanitary ware to the drainage riser through the same floor drainage function module to realize the non-decreasing floor structure of the bathroom. The drainage function module has strong applicability and can be used in different types of systems such as fully prefabricated floor slabs, prefabricated laminated floor slabs, and fully cast-in-place floor slabs, which solves the five major pain points of the above traditional toilets.


The relevant person in charge of the Institute of Building Research introduced that the success of the test of the same-layer drainage system without falling slabs has verified the smoothness and safety of the drainage of the system. It is one of the important achievements of the independent research and development technology transformation of the Drawin Group's Building Research Institute. The system is safe, reliable and adaptable, which will greatly reduce the difficulty of producing caisson components in the factory and improve the efficiency of toilet construction. After comparison and calculation, the comprehensive cost reduction of a single bathroom is expected to be more than 500 yuan compared with the traditional cast-in-place bathroom, and more than 1,500 yuan compared to the prefabricated caisson bathroom.
