Since 2017, Lu'an City has started construction of 10,043,200 square meters of prefabricated buildings, and completed construction of 4,484,300 square meters, realizing the transition from the pilot exploration stage to the large-scale development stage.

Guide construction enterprises to strengthen the scientific and standardized management of construction sites, and realize that when the assembly rate reaches 50%, the project cost per square meter will increase by less than 300 yuan compared with traditional construction methods, laying a solid foundation for promotion. Encourage enterprises to base their own technological advantages to research and explore prefabricated construction technologies suitable for the region. Related enterprises have successively developed 7 national-level construction methods, participated in the compilation of 10 industry standards, and obtained 105 related national invention patents and utility model patents.

There is hope for industry development. Guide commercial real estate projects to implement prefabricated construction methods, and encourage enterprises with advanced building industrialization technology to invest in the construction of new industrialized production bases in Lu'an City. Cultivate 2 prefabricated construction companies integrating design, production and construction, and 10 prefabricated component manufacturers, with an annual design capacity of about 1 million cubic meters of prefabricated concrete components and 330,000 tons of prefabricated steel structures. Support three enterprises including Gaodi Building Materials Company to create a provincial "modernization demonstration base for construction industry", and Changjiang Jinggong Steel Structure and Shenghong Construction Company to create a provincial "prefabricated construction industry base".
