Zhengzhou City, Henan Province: Prefabricated construction technology should be adopted for all new projects within the Third Ring Road

On December 16, the People's Government of Zhengzhou City issued the "Supplementary Notice on Vigorously Promoting the Development of Prefabricated Buildings (Draft for Solicitation of Comments)".

The document pointed out that the urban built-up area (the city's five districts, four development zones, the same below) within the third ring road. Starting in 2020, in principle, all new projects (excluding government investment projects that have been approved) should be constructed using prefabricated construction technology.

Within the city of Zhengzhou, the prefabricated construction base reviewed by the municipal prefabricated construction authority and obtained the title of national, provincial, and municipal prefabricated construction industrial bases will be given 5 million yuan, 3million yuan, 2 million yuan in municipal financial subsidies. The cumulative bonus does not exceed 5 million yuan.

During the early warning period of heavy pollution weather orange and below, the production, transportation, and construction operations of the prefabricated construction project can not be stopped.

The proportion of the city’s prefabricated buildings in the area of newly built buildings will reach the following goals: In 2020-2021, it will reach more than 30%; in 2022-2023, it will reach more than 40%; in 2024-2025, it will reach more than 50%.
