Tianjin City: Promote the construction of Jinghai National Industrial Base to create a prefabricated construction industrial base

According to Su Yunfeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Jinghai District Housing Construction Committee, on September 10 this year, the Tianjin Modern Construction Industrial Park declared by Jinghai District was approved as a national prefabricated construction industrial base (park category). It is reported that Tianjin Modern Construction Industrial Park includes four key areas for the development of prefabricated construction industry: Tangguantun Processing and Logistics Zone, Ziya Economic and Technological Development Zone, Jinghai Economic Development Zone, and Daqiuzhuang Industrial Zone. Among them, the Tangguantun Processing and Logistics Park mainly produces prefabricated concrete components, and seven enterprises represented by the China Railway Construction Bridge Bureau settled in. Tianjin Ziya Economic and Technological Development Zone mainly develops and produces steel structure modular prefabricated buildings. Five companies represented by Yike Energy Technology (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. settle in. Daqiuzhuang Industrial Park mainly develops the prefabricated steel structure component industry, and four companies represented by Baoneng Group settled in. Jinghai Economic Development Zone mainly develops prefabricated home furnishings, and four companies represented by Oupai home furnishing settle in. The direct investment of prefabricated construction enterprises is nearly 5 billion yuan. The annual production capacity of concrete components is 2 million cubic meters, the annual production capacity of metal maintenance plates is 3 million square meters, and the annual production capacity of steel truss floor decks is 2 million square meters, the annual production capacity of steel structure modular buildings is 50,000 square meters, and the total output value is about 32 billion yuan.

Su Yunfeng said: “Take steel structure building as the main direction of construction method innovation, and promote the iron and steel industry to resolve excess capacity and transform and upgrade. In accordance with the work deployment of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development to use steel structure buildings as the starting point to promote the transformation and development of housing urban and rural construction and promote the supply-side structural reform of the construction industry, actively promote the relevant work of prefabricated steel structure buildings. Combining the advantages of the steel industry in Jinghai District, clarify the main direction of prefabricated steel structures in the development of prefabricated buildings in our district, and promote the iron and steel industry to resolve excess capacity and transform and upgrade. Continue to promote the construction of the ‘Prefabricated Construction Industry Innovation Alliance’, which is a nationwide technological innovation alliance that combines production, study, research and application established under the guidance of the Jinghai District Government and is composed of enterprises, societies, universities and research institutions. At present, 138 alliance units continue to play the leading and contact role of the alliance in the industry, and accelerate the improvement and development of the assembly industry in Jinghai District through investment promotion, franchising and technology introduction.
