"Full coverage" in 14 cities and prefectures of Hunan prefabricated construction industry base

The reporter learned from the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Hunan Province on December 11 that 14 enterprises including Hunan Fifth Engineering Co., Ltd. and Changsha Architectural Design Institute Co., Ltd. were selected as the sixth batch of prefabricated construction industry bases in the province. The number of provincial-level prefabricated construction industry bases in Hunan Province has increased to 55, achieving "full coverage" in 14 cities and prefectures.

The prefabricated construction industry is one of the ten emerging industries and 20 advantageous industrial chains to be developed in Hunan Province. As of the end of October this year, the province's annual production capacity has exceeded 30 million square meters, with a total output value of 90 billion yuan, and prefabricated buildings accounted for 37.89% of the newly built construction area, continuing to maintain its leading position in the country. After the organization's declaration, expert review, and certification and release by the Provincial Housing and Urban-rural Development Department, the number of provincial prefabricated construction industrial bases has increased to 55, of which 15 are national prefabricated construction industrial bases (including parks). The "No. 1 Middle School in Jishou City, Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture" project undertaken by Dongfanghong Construction Group became the first prefabricated construction project in the country to win the National Quality Engineering Award.

According to the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Hunan Province, Hunan Province is vigorously promoting the construction of a smart manufacturing platform for the entire industrial chain of prefabricated buildings, comprehensively improving the level of smart construction, and striving to build a national prefabricated building technology innovation highland and software delivery center.
