This instrument is the "sleeve grouting fullness tester", which overcomes the quality inspection problem of the sleeve joints of fabricated building components. It is based on the "gas measurement volume method" non-destructive testing technology, and has obtained 2 national utility model patents. .

In recent years, prefabricated buildings called "building blocks to build houses" have been used more and more widely in engineering construction because they conform to the concept of green development and have a short construction period. Prefabrication is to transport the prefabricated components produced in the factory to the construction site for assembly and installation. The grouting sleeve is the main connection method between the prefabricated components of the building. How to accurately detect the solidity of the connection of the prefabricated components is a quality inspection problem for prefabricated buildings.

In September 2020, Beijing China State Construction Building Research Institute, affiliated to China Construction First Bureau, independently developed a sleeve grouting fullness detector for the quality inspection problems of prefabricated buildings. Through real-time measurement of the pressure change value in the sleeve, the fullness of the sleeve grouting is accurately calculated, thereby assessing whether the connection quality of the components meets the standard.

According to Wang Changjun, chief engineer of Beijing China State Construction Research Institute, Compared with other domestic detection methods at this stage, the sleeve grouting fullness detector can avoid the inconvenience of carrying, random detection, cumbersome operation, and high cost of detection, which greatly improves the accuracy and efficiency of detection. At present, the sleeve grouting fullness detector has been successfully applied in the civil servant apartment project of Beijing Administrative Sub-center, Zhengzhou University Youth Talent Apartment and other projects, and it is planned to be fully promoted in the industry in 2021.

Yu Yang, an investigator of the Quality Department of Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Construction, evaluated that the detector effectively solved the problem of quality inspection of prefabricated buildings and promoted the application and promotion of the green construction method of prefabricated buildings.
