Anhui: Tongling City organizes a prefabricated building observation meeting

In order to promote the development of prefabricated buildings in Tongling City, the Municipal Construction Engineering Bureau recently organized a prefabricated building observation meeting. More than 100 persons in charge from relevant municipal departments, county and district (economic development zones) housing construction departments, and some project construction, construction, and supervision units participated in the observation.

This event focused on observing the modular residence of Building 1# in Wuyue Huafu District A, Tongling. This project is the first modular building system in our city. Its structure type is modular + steel frame support mixed structure, a total of 6 floors, a building area of 3008 square meters, a total of 96 modules, and the assembly rate is greater than 95%. It is understood that the modular building system is different from the traditional building plan. It adopts a modular split plan design. It is a new building system composed of multiple prefabricated integrated building modules and a steel structure or concrete core tube, with a high degree of industrialization. Compared with traditional buildings, prefabricated buildings can shorten the construction period, reduce labor dependence, reduce construction dust and noise pollution, and reduce construction waste and sewage discharge.

Recently, the Tongling City Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau also reported to the municipal government to issue the "Implementation Opinions of the Office of the People's Government of Tongling City on Further Cultivating and Growing Construction Enterprises" (hereinafter referred to as "Implementation Opinions"). From the establishment of policy incentive mechanism, optimization of enterprise qualification management, improvement of the bidding system, and encouragement of the development of prefabricated buildings and green buildings, 19 specific measures to cultivate and strengthen construction enterprises have been proposed. The Urban Construction and Engineering Bureau quickly implemented the "Implementation Opinions", and organized relevant industry associations and some construction companies to discuss. At the same time, the "Implementation Opinions" have been policy-interpreted for various specific measures, continuously expanded and upgraded, and promoted the development of green buildings and fabricated buildings.
