Wangdu County, Hebei Province to build a modern residential industrial park to promote the healthy development of green buildings

On November 25, 2020, in the Housing Modernization Industrial Park in Wangdu County, Hebei Province, workers from Hebei Gangshan Hangxiao Steel Structure Engineering Co., Ltd. were busy with production in the workshop to rush orders. The company has teamed up with leading steel structure enterprises, with its own construction industrialization platform for the entire industry chain, relying on the industrial production alliance and comprehensive advantages in capital, talent, technology and other aspects, with a total investment of 1.15 billion yuan. To construct a production base project of fabricated building components with an annual output of 500,000 tons of fabricated steel pipe bundles, reinforced truss floor decks, box structures, H-shaped steel beams, and metal roof wall enclosures. Integrating design, production, construction and installation, it has been rated as "Hebei Province Prefabricated Construction Industry Base" by the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Hebei Province.

Wangdu County built a residential modern industrial park, actively promoted the healthy development of green buildings, and issued implementation opinions. Government-invested public construction projects and affordable housing projects took the lead in adopting steel structure system assembly construction methods. It is estimated that by 2025, the prefabricated building area of the county will account for more than 40% of the newly built building area.
