The first steel structure prefabricated residential building in the Western Guangdong Economic Circle realizes the core tube topping

On November 24, the first building of the public rental housing project on Dongsheng Road in Zhanjiang, located at the junction of Dongsheng Road and Huatian Road, Chikan District, Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, achieved a core tube roof capping (a structural height of 96.5 meters). It marks an important step forward in the construction of key livelihood projects in Zhanjiang City, which is EPC contracted by China State Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd.

The total planned land area of the project is 24,885.55 square meters, and the total construction area is 68606.79 square meters. It consists of three high-rise residential towers and two-story commercial podiums. The height of the building is 32 stories (96.5 meters), 28 stories (84.9 meters) and 30 stories (90.7 meters), with two basements underneath. After completion, it is expected to provide 840 public rental houses for multi-level groups such as young teachers, young doctors, sanitation workers, and bus drivers.

This project is the first batch of pilot steel structure prefabricated residential construction approved by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (currently there are only 2 pilot projects nationwide). Under the leadership and support of governments at all levels and China State Construction Engineering Group, the project team carefully planned and managed scientifically. Fully mobilize various high-quality resources, organize construction with high positioning and high standards, and use the "aluminum mold + climbing frame" construction technology to combine the core tube + outer frame structure system of the project to effectively expand the construction work surface. More than 10 units have efficient interspersed and flow-through construction, and the construction efficiency has been significantly improved. The construction speed of the main body has reached 3 days, setting a new record in Western Guangdong.

The project adopts the EPC (Design-Procurement-Construction General Contracting) project management model, which allows the design and construction to be highly integrated, so that there is enough strength in the early design stage to fully research and solve the important and difficult points in the high-prone typhoon area. It not only reasonably solves the problems of steel structure comfort and waterproof and impermeability, but also reaches the standard of A-level assembly rate.

The project is expected to complete the capping of the main structures of all three buildings before the Spring Festival in 2021.
